Calum MacAskill, who goes by Wee Cal, plays Highland bagpipes, whistle & guitar.
A former student of Sgoil Chiùil Na Gàidhealtachd, Calum came to further his music study with us here in Fort William on Music HNC, then following on with Music HND from which he graduated this year.

Digital DJing with Sound Production NQ
A great new opportunity to learn about sound production, the recording process and the theory behind it. Learn about DJing for live performances and on live radio in collaboration with Nevis Radio.
Creative Industries: Music NC
If you’re passionate about music in any of the three disciplines – Performing, DJing or Composing - and want to work in a challenging, exhilarating industry, this course will set you on the right path.
HNC Music
Interested in pursuing a career in popular or traditional music performance? Get a strong grounding in core disciplines which help develop and enhance your musical skills and understanding of the music industries.
HND Music
You’ll build your performance experience as a solo performer and develop the necessary skills to enable you to play as part of a band, performing locally, nationally and internationally. Develop your skills for a career as a musician.

Rock School
Form a band, perform and write music, develop musical skills and make new friends. Open to high school students from around Lochaber who are 14 and over and can play an instrument or sing at a reasonable standard. There will be an opportunity to perform in public at the end of the sessions.
